December 17, 2023 — Great customer service, nice clubs in great condition. They even called me to let me know I could call myself and get better pricing on tee times at one of the courses I'd requested and refunded the prepaid tee time. Just make sure you check your confirmation for the right dates, mine had the half day the clubs were dropped off and the half day they were scheduled to be picked up down as full days. So, as confirmed, it was really only a 4 day rental. I was able to keep them for the fifth day, though.

November 6, 2023 — Great experience renting clubs! Ron made it very convenient for us. He is well known at all of the island’s courses and resorts, too, it seems. The prices are quite reasonable, especially since you don’t need to pick them up or drop them off. Our stay switched from one resort to another mid-way through, and they were accommodating and willing to pickup the clubs from a location other than the original drop off resort. The Calloway clubs weren’t the latest and greatest technology-wise, but they were perfect for a terrible amateur like myself. They do have premium sets available, too! In one of the sets (We rented two), one of the wedges was a ladies model, but for my friend, it worked out and he actually hit more consistently with that than he did the rest of the clubs. I’d highly recommend renting from Kauai Golf Club Rentals if you’re going to be playing multiple rounds during your stay!

October 28, 2023 — We usually bring our own clubs, but decided to rent clubs while we were in Kauai. What a nice experience we had with Ron and Kauai Golf Club Rentals. They were delivered and picked up on schedule. We had a Senior and Ladies golf sets. Callaways (irons, driver, 3W,5W), Odyssey putters, lob wedge, and a hybrid -- very complete set, along with tees and a nice towel. My husband said the putter was better than the one he is using at home. Would use this company again and would highly recommend.
October 16, 2023 — Have always bought our clubs with us on every Kauai visit in the last 20+ years. This year, with the additional check in baggage cost plus the hassle of toting the clubs along with our luggage suggested we look at other options. Looked at the option of shipping our two sets over from CA but the logistics of drop off and especially pick up in Kauai seemed complicated. How very fortunate to learn we had a better option. Ron dropped off an almost new set of Callaway Maverick clubs for me and a women's set for my wife directly to our condo rental. Were fortunate to play 5 great Kauai courses. At the end of our trip Ron came by and picked them up on our last day. The overall cost and convenience working with Kauai Golf Club Rental was an absolute 5 star experience!

Ron the owner is so helpful. Before we arrived, he called and asked a few questions because we are beginners and he gave us some great tips, not only on the different courses suitable for us but on restaurants as well. The clubs were in great condition. The whole process was seamless and it's a pleasure to work with a company and owner that care so much about delivering a great experience to their customers. May 2, 2023 — Booked a 5-day club rental, and everything went as smooth as possible. The clubs were in good enough condition (grips had grip, grooves on club faces were in good shape). Clubs arrived on day 0 at the resort I was staying, and picked up on day 6 from the resort. All I had to do was pickup/dropoff the clubs with the bellhop. Super convenient and a great deal compared to renting from the golf courses.

April 12, 2023 — Clubs were "LIKE NEW", full set with head covers (even on putter). My travel partner wanted to buy them after using. The rental rate, delivery and pick-up was cheaper and easier than checking in on flights. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

February 18, 2023 — The week my wife and I were in Kauai, rain was forecast all week. We landed in a flash flood warning and had another on Monday evening around the whole island. We were hoping to play a few rounds throughout the week so we called Ron. He recommended we wait til later in the week to see how conditions improved before committing to a rental. Instead he recommended places to see on the island that were enhanced by the rainfall (Wailua Falls - A+). This morning I called while the sun was out to inquire about still renting clubs. He reiterated that he didn't want to rent me clubs if I weren't going to be able to use them. Ultimately, my wife and I decided that we would only have time to play one round of golf if we were lucky and Ron agreed it would make more sense to rent at the course. Afterward, he still recommended to us good Luau locations and suggested avoiding potential places that if flooded would strand my wife and I. I don't often review places, and despite not actually renting clubs from Ron, he is an amazing individual with a passion for helping others. Highly recommend!

November 26, 2022 — What a convenient and cost-effective way to golf on vacation. No need to travel with cumbersome golf bags when you can't have high quality clubs delivered and picked up from your hotel. The cost was much less than paying for rentals at the course and the quality was much better. Ron was great to work with and he made all of our tee time reservations as well. All we had to do was show up to the course and be ready to play. He was also a great resource on all things Kaua'i. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning on playing more than once while on the island.

October 13, 2022 — Using Kauai golf Club Rentals is the way to go. The clubs I rented were a quality Calloway set . I have traveled with my clubs before and it is a big hassle and expensive. It was convenient to go to the front desk and pick them up and go play golf. We played 2 fantastic golf courses, Poipu Bay and The Ocean Course. When we finished using our clubs I took them to the front desk and they picked them up. I was extremely satisfied with the club rental experience.

February 13, 2021 — We rented two sets of Callaway clubs to play Makai in Princeville. Price was right ($99 per set for 3 days play, rental clubs at Makai were $85 per day). Ron, the owner was great. He delivered them to our rental house the day before our first round. He was scheduled to pick them up the morning after our last round when he was going to be delivering other clubs, but we changed our plans and were going to be out of town that morning. So Ron drove up to Princeville from Lihue (an hour away) and picked them up the afternoon after our last round. No problem. Would definitely recommend Kauai Golf Club Rentals for a stress free, friendly rental experience.

July 15, 2020 — We had a 5 day rental, there was a little problem with my husband's Covid test download so he had a couple days of quarantine. Ron let us keep the clubs a couple extra days at no charge. He delivered and picked both sets of clubs up at our resort. He went out of his way to accommodate us. Will definitely use them again for future visits.
March 25, 2020 — I'm a repeat renter. Clubs arrived a day earlier (no extra charge) because of their route. Everything was as agreed. Nice clubs and bag. I recommended this company while on the course to a guy who rented clubs that looked tired to say the least. So for a fair price you get delivery, good clubs and pick up. Sure beats dragging my clubs 6,000 miles.
March 23, 2020 — We would never bring our golf clubs to Hawaii. Kauai Golf Club Rentals provides 1st class arrangements. They are extremely friendly, helpful and their Callaway Clubs are great. We had them change our tee times due to a continuous week of rain. They handled that with no problem. We would definitely rent from them again AND recommend to others.

And since we were traveling to other islands without plans to golf it was great not to have the extra luggage.

June 20, 2019 — I have used KGCR's since 2013 and enjoy the convenience of having clubs delivered and picked up at the hotel. I play Taylormade clubs but have also owned Callaway's so playing them vs bringing my own is not a biggie. Ron and his staff are great, they confirm all your rental details personally. The pricing is very reasonable and the clubs are a few years old (but not as old as my own set lol). I haven't looked into it but it would be nice if they offered current year models for like another 20-25% more so you could check out the newer stuff. Having said that my friend Bob got some (barely) cheaper clubs at one of the generic rental places last year and although they were new, they were obviously an off brand starter set. That's fine for non-golfers, but it was also two more side trips to pick up and drop them off on the way to the airport, so there's that. "This year he didn't make that same mistake. "

March 14, 2019 — The clubs worked better than my game! Seriously, Calloway clubs in great condition and really struck the mall nicely. The rental arrangements were so easy. Drop off service was ideal as was pick up and bag came with souvenir towel (high quality), more tees than needed and it was so easy to extend our rental. We will rent again on our next trip here!! The Crossett party (all four of us!) gives Ron a thumbs up!

Ron worked with us to get us the tee times we wanted and was able to make a slight adjustment due to one of the players on island injury. The only recommendation i would have is to have larger grips on the putter ( like super stroke) and maybe an additional wedge for the short game Very pleased and will use Kauai Golf Rental again

June 12, 2018 — Great clubs! Great service! We enjoyed a men's and women's set while on Kauai for vacation. It was so convenient to have a really nice set of rental clubs as we traveled the island.
May 22, 2018 — Kauai Golf Club Rentals provided excellent Callaway clubs, even at the last minute. I took advantage of their 3-day rental option, and Ron was kind enough to pre-position the clubs at my first course and then pick them up three days later at my Poipu-based condo. Saved me significant money over paying for rental clubs at three different courses and allowed me to get somewhat used to the set by my final round. Excellent service, from the initial booking/phone call to the final pickup! You cannot go wrong with Ron and his team!
May 17, 2018 — My Wife and I decided not to take our sticks to Kauai this time around. Found KGCR and decided to give them a try. Excellent Choice! Ron gave us all the info and upon our making the rental arrangement actually delivered the clubs 1 day earlier at no extra cost. The Callaway clubs were in good shape and the rental included delivery to the Waiohai and pickup. Various rental rates available depending on the length and also some rent and play pkgs. We were extremely happy and would rent again on our next trip to Kauai. Highly recommended to those golfers out there that don't want the hassle of lugging your own clubs thru the airports and risking damage.

November 3, 2017 — What a great experience. Everything went according to plan. Ron contacted me a couple of times before I arrived to confirm the details and arrange the drop off time. I purchased the Poipu Bay Golf Course package (2 rounds) with the 5-day club rental. This option provided a big discount versus paying the normal rate. The clubs were in good condition and more affordable than the course rentals. I'm so glad I discovered KGCR. I'll never ship or lug my clubs through the airport again now that I've used this service.

August 14, 2017 — Went to Kauai last week for a golf trip with my family. Setting up the golf club rentals online was easy and the drop-off/pick-up of the clubs (by Ron) at the condo we were staying at was smooth. We rented 3 sets of clubs -- all were Callaway clubs in very good condition. The cost for 5 days was excellent and much better than had we rented clubs from each of the golf courses we played. Overall great experience and would not hesitate to rent clubs from Kauai Golf Club Rentals again.
June 10, 2017 — Last minute decision to golf in Kauai and called Ron in the afternoon. He was able to have two sets of clubs dropped off that night at our resort's office. We got a 3 day package with nice Callaway clubs. Good clubs but Excellent service! Very short notice and Ron came through with flying colors.
March 6, 2017 — booked with Ron when we (2 of us) decided to play multiple rounds of golf over an 8 day trip to the island.. I did the 7 day rental package and used the passes with Makai, ocean course and poipu.. This was primarily due to the fact that they are the most expensive courses...The passes were flawless at the clubs, great savings!..clubs were good.. The experiences were great and no issues arose of any signifcance - clubs delivered personally on the day of our first round - We played every golf course on the isalnd - LOVED it and will definitely rent here again when we are back

August 16, 2015 — I was in Kauai last week and wanted to play at least four rounds. I Called Dave and arranged a 5 day rental. The price was excellent and the Callway clubs were in great shape. Dave was very friendly and professional. He had my clubs at my condo my first full day on the island by 6:30 am so I could get out and play. Dave also was helpful with information regarding the good courses and deals for rounds. Dave even came back to my condo the second day to swap out the first set for a better set that was a little more stiff and what I was used to. Now that is awesome customer service. Thanks Dave for helping to make my trip a great golf experience.
August 13, 2015 — Came to Kauai with my family for two weeks and wanted to play golf without the hassle of lugging my own clubs from NY. Found this site through TripAdvisor and I was quite pleased with the responsiveness when I contacted them, the prompt delivery and pickup once I was on Kauai (they showed up exactly when they said they would) and the quality of the clubs. Kauai Golf Club Rentals helped me play three rounds of hassle free golf. Leave the clubs at home and give these guys a call.
February 13, 2015 — I love it when everything goes smooth and that’s exactly what happened with this company. Emails answered right away, the right advise as to what courses to play, clean good equipment delivered on time and reasonably priced. I don’t recommend a lot of companies because of my high standards, but I can here. I hope to get back to Kauai one day and I have no doubt I’ll be calling Dave to set me up.
